Any help on this is much appreciated guys. Ive been getting major lag in bf2, where the screen can freeze for upto several minutes, and it shouldnt be happening - high spec pc gf 7900 gt, 3.2 ghz pentium d 775, etc. I noticed on boot it was saying Pc24300 single channel mode. Im running http://www.microdirect.co.uk/ProductInfo.aspx?ProductID=11668&GroupID=1113
this ram, so its obviously not correct. I tried to change the frequency to 667 in bios, but when running cpu-z, it shows (see attatched image). How can i sort this out, it should be running 667 mhz dual channel, not 334 mhz single channel. Thanks again, Plant

make sure that you have the RAM set in the right chanels you cant just throw it in there right next to eachother or in any slot. also it could be double pumping the ram and that will register as 334mhz but it is really processing at 667mhz. hope that helps.
