Hey guys, im currently looking to getting a good gamming mouse. I've used my stock mouse for awhile and i figured that its time for an upgrade. Im not really a super-hardcore pc gammer. Games i usually play are RPGs, Strategy, and some FPS (ex Fear).

After some research, ive narrowed it down to 4 choices. I just wanna hear your opinion if you guys had any experience with any of these.

Logitech G5 Laser:

Logitech MX518:

Razer Plasma Diamondback:

Razer Copperhead:

My budget is up to 60$. This is my first non-stock mouse so i really dont know what to expect from them. From the reviews that i've read, some of them apparently fail after 3 months?!?

Thnx for the help. Any opinion is appreciated

I have the Logitech MX518 and i love it, i think its an awesome mouse so id say get that one, but thats my opinion.

I just use a standard Dell optical lazer mouse. Never fails.

I compared it once to my freind's G7 and saw almost no difference. The only thing I noticed that was different about it was that it had more buttons, but they made no difference to my gaming experience (tested both mouse on HL2, FEAR, and Doom 3).

That's only my opinion however, and I can't stop you from wasting that much money on a mouse, but if you really want to nkow what I think, just go with any standard lazer optical mouse. Cord or no cord, it never bothers me, and usually the wireless mouse are more expensive.

Also, if you go with my suggestion (doubtful), make sure that it says something about "Lazer", because you may get ripped off and buy a "Optical hybrid" which uses a ball and is very inneficcient. I really hate those, they require lots of cleaning, and never work right, and have alot of resistance compared to lazer.

Ive used the Razer Pro 1.6, the Razer Diamondback, and the Razer Copperhead. They are all awesome mice and I must say I highly reccomedn them!
