HELP NEEDED: Running FAT32 and NTFS alongside eachother

Hiya,

I have 3 hard drives currently connected to my pc (long story) a 40gb, 120gb and a 320gb. The 320 is malfunctioning a little as described in this thread (http://www.techist.com/showthread.php?s=&postid=935978#post935978 ). My 40 and 120 are NTFS, but my newly obtained 320 is FAT32.

Could this be causing the errors in the hard drive or should it run fine even though they are different.

its not a problem to use two different file systems on different HDDs, no.

I have some drives FAT32 and some NTFS and have never had a problem as a direct result of mixing the two in one computer.

Besides you can always reformat the new drive to NTFS or just convert it if you have data on there.

fat 32 can run fine along side NTFS. and isnt really capable of creating errors in that specfic sense because its just a file system.
