remote desktop connection help

Hi this might be an easy one.

I bought a new File Server running server 2003 and connected it to my network.
I have given it a static IP address and told it what the default gateway and DNS IP address's are.

I'm trying to get remote desktop to work. I can connect to the other servers from workstations and my new file server but I cannot connect to the new file server.
I had a look in services to compare the file server with my DC and TS servers.

So any suggestions would be great.

Did you "enable" the ability to allow others to connect to it via RDP? If you right click on "My Computer" and select "properties" then go to the "remote" tab..the enable remote desktop on this computer option..be sure that is checked.
