That system is only good for internet browsing pretty much


YourPrinter's system is nice, but the 9800 Pro is way above what he is looking for in a video card

you really do not want a maxtor drive. their low level formatting is bad( at least thats what i have heard) I would go with a western digital, or a seagate drive.

hard drive brand: Seagate - as ive said multiple times, they are one of the least expensive among good brands, among the best of quality, AND virtually silent

2x256MB Corsair Value or Kingston PC2700 RAM

17-19" good but not expensive monitor

and just a simple 3-button optical wheel mouse, and a fairly average keyboard - both from a small computer store where they're not very expensive

speakers, something simple, 3 speaker, cheap but not too cheap

Yes, thats a nice setup, but as he said he doesn't need much of a video card at all really

I would think that he would be more satisfied with a Audigy 2 sound card and 9200 wasting money on a video card he has sadi that he doesn't really need much
