you can handle it in 3 ways

1. cuss them out when the home cd won't activate. they will fix it

2.put the serial of you other xp cd in then activate. when it won't go through. change the product key to the original.

3. get that super windows dvd that floating around. use nlite to seperate the 20-25 differerent forms of xp on there to 20-25 single individual iso's files

YOU MIGHT WANT TO PAY ATTENTION HERE:
He is pirating software if he uses his own cd's to install windows w/ a key that wasnt sold w/ said disc. If the customer doesnt have a cd then they are out of luck. I go through this all the time and I tell people the same thing, they need to purchase a legal copy of Windows. If they bought a PC without a disc or at least a recovery disc then they got ripped ofF and they learn a lesson for next time.

lmfao you should be paying attention to the way licensing works. Microsoft supply businesses with discs via a deal called technet.

These are intended to be used very frequently on different machines.. as long as the client has a legit key then it doesnt matter what disc is used to install said software..

Downloading a disc off the net is also not illegal if you use a proper purchased code for it.
