no power please pleas ehelp

motherboard is an asus a8n premium

case is an aspire x cruiser

When i turn on the power pack nothing I do get a green light on my motherboard but nothing else

the wires from the on button on the case i cannot seem to figure out.

what should happen at the very least ie fan for the power supply turn on

do i have a dead motherboard?

Do any fans spin? Does the machine even POST? Try swapping out the power supply first of all. This sounds like a classic case of a failing power supply. If the power supply swap doesn't solve the problem, it could very well be the motherboard.

i cant swap out anything this is all i get the board does light up green I cannot tell how to hook up the darn power button switches

computer turns off by itself like in 30 seconds fter being on

kind of sounds like the psu is going out... or overheating(which essentialy is the same)

if you can... try another psu... maybe borrow one from a friend.. or use one you have lying around (one you know works)

and if your computer runs and operates accordingly with the temporary psu

then you might look into buying a new one

after you are in the os or durring boot? i say bad PSU try going and getting one from a local store that you can return easily and put it in see if that helps.
