I have got a 7.1 set and an Audigy 2 ZS card. When i play music or films, only a pair of speakers (front, L &R )is working. I believe the settings are all done , why there is no more than 2 speakers working?

music may only play in stereo and dvds might, too, if you don't have the "pro" version of the software. check if the software settings are set to (or can be set to) 5.1 or 7.1. and like mRK said, check to see if you have 7.1 selected in the control panel's Sounds and Audio Devices extension.
