Overheating Problems

Artifacting is almost always a bad card. Uninstall your video card drivers, then use a driver cleaner to finish it up, Reinstall the latest chipset drivers and video card drivers then try it. If it still happens start looking for warranty.

well my card is the 7900gt that has been recalled if its messed up. I never had any like noticable artifacts to my knowledge but its always done this wierd tear thing ever since I got it. Ill try what you said and see what happens. Id like to run deepfreeze or 3dmark06 but my monitor cant go past 1024 by 768 so I cant even use it. But if I do take it back, I cant go pcless for a month waiting to take my card back then recieve a new one.
