ok just trying to get the final details sorted out for my build...

heres my intended setup:

Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 Conroe Processor
Gigabyte GA-965P-DS3 Motherboard
Lian Li PC-65B Black Aluminum ATX Mid Tower Case
eVGA Geforce 7950GX2 01G-P2-N592-AX Dual GPU Video
G.SKILL 2GB
Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi XtremeMusic Sound Card
ARCTIC COOLING Freezer 7 Pro CPU Cooler
SONY Black DVD-R/RW, CD-R/RW Burner/Player
Antec TruePower 2.0 TP2-550 EPS12V ATX12V 550W Power Supply
SONY Black 1.44MB 3.5" Internal Floppy Drive

the questions I have are should I go with the :

Gigabyte GA-965P-DS3 Motherboard
or
ASUS P5N32-SLI SE Deluxe Socket T (LGA 775) NVIDIA nForce4 SLI X16 ATX Intel Motherboard

and

should I go with the:

OCZ GameXStream OCZ600GXSSLI ATX12V 600W Power Supply

over the

Antec TruePower 2.0 TP2-550 EPS12V ATX12V 550W Power Supply

or should I just go with something with more power?

and most likely I'll be going with G-Skill for memory
G.SKILL 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400)
anybody oppose that?
any recommendations?

and of course if you see anything else that is out of place or that you may feel is better...please feel free to note it

TIA :D
it will be very appreciated!

I'd get the ASUS over the Gigabyte mobo. Oh and what did you pick for your hard drive, I don't see it on the list.

Both are fine, though, i say go with ASUS. I haven't heard a lot about Gigabyte.

Go with the Antec. More reliable company.

G.Skill is fine. OCZ and Corsair are also good choices, for future reference.

most likely something with 7200rpm and about 100gigs

im debating whether or not i want to run 2 drives
might want to run linux on the 2nd drive or something like that

I also have to do some research on RAID/SATA and what not as far as configuration choices

its been a while since Ive built a computer

Actualy Antec and OCZ are about even on the Reliability scale. IMO go with the OCZ The more wattage would allow for more upgradability in the future.

But, You really can't go wrong with either. :)

Well its just an opinion, the Sole reason I reccomended the OCZ is for the higher wattage, but Like I said, if he didn't care about upgradibility then he could have flipped a coin and either way still got a great power supply. ;)
