Onboard and sound card at the same time?

I have two 3 piece speaker sets and I was wondering if it's possible to run one through my sound card and the other through onboard sound? That way I would have one 6 speaker set.

You can only use one at a time

However, you can switch between them in the Volume Control.

you can always buy a headphone splitter, i dont know how much it would degrade the quality though.
