What should I buy...

I have been trying to make my first build, I have been looking at many threads and I need to know what should I buy. I like am2 but I also like conroe. I like the 7900gt but the x1900xt is al over better. I need to know what system would be better, in a few months, december area.
My orgnial specs are:

or should I keep amd and just get the 1900gt

or just do the last one and get a am3 socket chip. I have a hard time deciding.
If these pc won't work with each other, sorry and tell me. Tell me if these will be killer pcs. O yeah I will probally get e600 in a few months if prices drops, so what should I get.

thats alot of links man, just a few suggestions. i would get the 7900gt just because its nvidia. i personally dont like ati. anyways and dont getthe xioon unless you want a full plastic piece of crap case. dont get conroe. just get the am2 that way uyou will be abble to upgrade to the new am3

Well, the thing is that the ati chip is better and the conroe is also better. It is really about performance over a brand name. It will al cost about the same but if I get the ati system I want to be able to upgrade to crossfire. The reason I don't shoot at that is because I think the am3 chips will be superior. The question is will it be in my price range. **** amd needs to come out with info soon or conroe will be in my pc.

Well, only the front is plastic, the sides and top are not plastic. They are steel. I want a solid. good looking, and also has good airflow. Also comes about $50, and I don't want to spend $100+ on a case. It isn't real hardware, only airflow matters in a case, but I want it to look good aswell.

For the am2 get a dfi infinity mobo and 2gb of g.skill with a x1900xt.

niether. and i agree. i just sold my current mobo and got the dfi infinity. great overclocking board foor cheap.

My friend was like there's a dfi am2 mobo and I was like cool so he bought one and yes it does run ddr2 perfectly fine. I think he ran his gskill ran up to ddr2 900 or something. He went dual 7900gt's with a pencil mod. He volt modded them and oced past gtx's with a x2 3800 at 2.6ghz. Great mobo!
