OK, I'm building a computer for an attorney and she needs it for office use. Nevertheless, some of her apps require a lot of memory. The system I'll be building will be around $600. I am a little puzzled about the processor: Should I get the new Conroe E6300 or 6400 (2.13 GHz) for $260 or Pentium D 3.4GHz for about $210? Conroe has great FSB, but isn't Pentium going to perform much faster due to the large frequency gap? I'm assuming that AMD isn't even worth considering since those suckers did not lower their dual core prices properly.
