should i invest in amd 64?
if not im pretty sure im gonna go with one of the barton 333fsb AMDxp's probably a 2500+

i know that amd 64 has taht AWESOME hypertransport bus technology, but even the cheapest one is alot more. meaning mobo is more too. do they REALLY run what they are worth?

oh forgot to ask... wat is the maximum speed of RAM this cpu supports? not mobo but processor.

64 bit chips are no differn't from regular amd chips except there 64 bit. If you dont use the 64 bit on the chip it will close to or exactly the same as the equivilent amd 32 bit chip.
Ram is on a completely differn't bus than the cpu so the ram will be supported by the chipset. If the chipset can handel 400mhz ddr you can have pc3200. if the bus of the cpu is 333mhz you can still have pc3200 and have it being used affectively

Via chipsets and sis are garbage. nforce will serve you better, they do have some problems though but are easly fixed. via and sis chipsets are just crap. for me in my experiences
