Let me know if i am missing anything that i would need. Thanks.

Edited: A little better for those 56k Users. XD

I would like to use this post to make a request...can people type or cut and paste the description to their links?

You know like cpu: Intel Pentium X, and then of course post your link for pricing reference. 56k kills...makes people lazy and not want to click links :D

I'll do it anyway but ya know...help us lazy who want to help you ;p

edit 1: looked at the case...I thought, hey that looks like a Decepticon...Autobots rule...transformerss, more than meets the eye. Then I looked at the box pic, and it says Transformer, but prolly a rip, hehe. Cool case just for being of something I loved as a kid and still do! ;p

Just wanted to point that out to let others know.

I wanted to be able to play games such as BF2 and/or CS:S, games like that.

TY thanks. See thats what i would have missed, because im still trying to learn.

Anything else like that would be great.

looks good let me see if I can find a better deal on ram. (I got 2gigs corsair XMS for 120)

edit: looks like they raised prices. perhaps they're trying to kill older tech...

ditto what shannon said. Whats your budget by the way? If that build is your budget than everything seems good, besides the RAM. Also you may want to consider using a socket AM2 procesor and MoBo, it has more upgradeability for the future. I can think of a few things that you could improve if your budget allows more than that build there.

Well right now my budget is like 1000$ or a little more for just the tower. But i still have to get a monitor, keyboard, and mouse. Umm im gonna say budget for the TOWER itself is gonna be no more than 1300$ give or take a few dollars.

So something like this for a better harddrive?

Western Digital Caviar SE16 WD3200KS 320GB 7200 RPM 16MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s

Or should i get two HDD's because i see alot of people use those Raptors with 10k RPM as a main HDD and get a 140 GB HDD for data?

yeah i think i need to change to that HD for my build, mine dosn't have a rebate. Im workin on my first build here and the people on this forum have been a great help. Ive learned a lot about computers these last weeks, i think my knowledge on computers has triplified.

And heres some RAM that should work good with you, plus it has a rebate :D

Raptors will cost you a whole lot more though.
