Just curious to know if anyone has experience with writing scripts or utilities which query the Active Directory database. There are certain attributes which I would like to query (ie last login time, etc) which I'm not aware of being easily accessible.

I've never queried against the AD DB, but I see in MS KB articles that it can be done using VBScript + ADO. Can anyone provide me with any information regarding ADSI, or the schema of the AD database which would prove useful?

Thanks.

Not really. Windows System Administration, specifically advance Active Directory. But thanks for contributing to the thread.

I may be really off here and probably am since i am new to the whole AD enviroment, but could you possible use the command line utlitiy and just do a " dsquery /?" command to see what all switches are used and which ones you need.
