i pulled it apart. i am an idiot!! is it safe to use it with it? because i did it and its working righyt now.

i woudlnt advise it, if you shake your laptop while carrying it you could bend and damage the pins on it and make it completely unusable.

if i dont get the caddy on time, will it be okay if i use on my desk at home? i wont be moving it at all.

As long as youre not banging it around, youll be fine. If you really want to be sure, just take the hard drive out if youre going to travel with it, then put it back in when you need to use it.

i foprgot to say that the hard drive has a SCREW that holds it in place.

as long as that screw lines up with out the caddy then you should be good, just make sure its not bending the hard drive because it may not line up flush wiht out the cady.
