What's Faster?

Hey Guys..

I was just wondering, what's faster, a Pentium 4 3Ghz or an AMD X2 4400?

And no, I'm not deciding which one to buy, I already have the X2 4400, but I'm wondering about game requirements and if they are equivalent or which one is more powerful?

The X2 4400+ is just better overall.

The X2 4400+ is faster than ANY pre-Conroe Intel processors. In the old P4 system, it would be roughly equivalent to a 4.4Ghz Intel.

Do not exaggerate

X2 4400+ means two 3700+
3700+ is equivalent to P4 3.7GHz
Pentium D 3.7GHz is two P4 3.7GHz
So, X2 4400+ is equivalent to Pentium D 3.7GHz

Not to mention that the dual-core technology in Pentium D's aren't developed that well, we're talking about a 4.0-4.2 Pentium D equivalence.
