Zone alarm slowing startup

hey guys last time I formatted I installed zone alarm and it is making my startup really slow after i enter my password it hangs at the welcome screen for quite some time the weird thing is it never did this before i formatted any ideas what i can do i dont want to have to uninstall zone alarm.

Try taking it out of the startup?

Id leave if off if I were you. Sounds like its causing you to much trouble...

whats another good firewall though because i love zone alarm its a really nice firewall.

a hardware firewall such as your router.....
