Computer shuts off while playing CS:S

It could be RAM try running memtest86+ also try swapping out some sticks. another thing is that one fan tward the front of the case or on the sides should be pulling in aire and the fans at the back should be pulling air out. that is proper airflow.
 
Is there any other way to run memtest86 than in command prompt, if not can someone tell me how.

I will try swapping out the sticks and about the fans, the one on the side is pulling air out, when I switched it around so that it was pulling air in, my computer was much warmer and the top fan seems like it is pulling in and pulling out the same amount of air.
 
you need to get memtest86 you put it on a floppy then boot to it and run it overnight and see if you get errors.
