No I did not. Didn't download a thing... it just stopped working... no reason at all!

is your computer a main brand like dell, gateway, ect. if it is you can just call the manufacturer and ask for an os cd because you need to preform a repair.

have you tried this ?

Its alienware... but theres got to be a simple way to fix it... it happened for no reason?

some systems most likley got corrupt a repair should fix it but you need to get the cd from alienware.

I contacted them about it (no help) but I found the disk to install it... I do have it. The only problem is that I don't have any serial key to go with it. What can I do about that?

the key should be on a sticker on the computer some where its bright windows colors. blue green and it has the key. check all around the computer.
