lol, no no dont get two 7950GX2!! get just one its already SLi, but I think you should really wait two weeks or so for the X1950XTX to come out..... its much better as far as I heard.. and will cost the same or less.

Video cards...you could wait for dx10 cards or just get 2 1900xts.

Don't bother with any add-on sound cards
Make sure you get wifi for your system

DVD burner (you could get any variant, dvd/cd, standard or dual...with or w/o lightscribe, etc)...also multiples if you want, 1 dedicated drive to burn and the other to just play, etc

card reader for your case, 3.5 or 5.25 size, your tastes
standard status display or fancy 3 gauge, and whatnot for displaying temp, status, music, etc

xbox 360 gamepad, wireless of course
if it comes out soon enough, MS ultimate kb
