Okay, since next year ill probally purchase a C2D or core quad or whatever it is, I decided i want to OC my CPU....
the thing is, i have a 915G (915GRO(i searched EVERYWHERE, nowhere did it say anything that it exsisted o_O)but, on my mobo it says 915gro /915gpro/195gvro) and i heard about the NB volt change, how it OC'ed youre CPU... but i updated my bios, thinking that i would have OC'ing options in the bios. WRONG. so, i saw a program, SETFSB, that had teh
915 series mobo supporrted, so i got it. the thing is, i set the FSB to 10~20 mhz over normal, freezes. i tried it a long time ago with cpucool, too. So, i decided to underclock my RAM from 400mhz to 333mhz, with 400mhz timings, so I could OC. WRONG. same freeze...
here is meh cpu

P4 530J HT (presscott)
DDR 400mhz (infenion)
512MB RAM(256MBx2)
stock cooling, i bought a rosewill fan, and its going to be here monday.
a chassis fan is coming tomorrow. till then, i took apart my computer cleaned all the dust out, moved cables around, and added all the fans i could. i took my chassis fan andlayed it on top of my HSF for now... i left the case off, and its on its side now, the fans pointing up, so i have ok air flow for now.

EDIT!!!::
by the way, my PLL is 9541 (intel)

Sounds like a plan. Make sure that the AGP is running at 66MHz and PCI and 33MHz. If you're using PCI-e make sure it's running at 100MHz.
