OK. You have a 3200+ (same as I have). Since you have a socket 939, you can upgrade your CPU pretty cheap right now... you may want to snag a cheap single-core like a 4000+ for $135:

Your mobo can support up to 4 gig of RAM, but go with the 2x1 gig sticks as recommended above.

Your power supply is only 300W, so you will definately need to replace it if you plan on getting a video card (duh!).

You have a PCI-E slot, so you can buy about any card you want. Go with a eVGA 256-P2-N584-AR Geforce 7900GT KO 256MB for $264.99 ($244.99 after $20.00 Mail-In Rebate):

That will set you up with a good gaming machine.

upgrade everything but the cpu, and if you're still not satisfied, then upgrade to a dual core cpu.

No need to change out the motherboard unless you plan to overclock. And the eMachine chassis is actually pretty nice for a pre-built.

The PSU definitely needs upgrading, and the graphics card is surely needed. The RAM is one that can be upgraded but wouldn't kill it if it wasn't.

Oh, you may want to toss in a case fan for the rear of the computer. When I added one to my eMachine is dropped the temp by 6-8 degrees.
