Hey everyone. Same old same old :p. I'm buildin a computer and need some input. Now, I'm slowly building it peice by peice. So here's what I've got so far.

HD - http://canadacomputers.com/index.php?do=ShowProduct&cmd=pd&pid=001685&cid=HD.96
Processor - http://canadacomputers.com/index.php?do=ShowProduct&cmd=pd&pid=004975&cid=CPU.611
120mm fan - http://canadacomputers.com/index.php?do=ShowProduct&cmd=pd&pid=008681&cid=FN.505
80mm fan - http://canadacomputers.com/index.php?do=ShowProduct&cmd=pd&pid=007370&cid=FN.505
MoBo - http://canadacomputers.com/index.php?do=ShowProduct&cmd=pd&pid=008025&cid=MB.693
Optical Drive - http://canadacomputers.com/index.php?do=ShowProduct&cmd=pd&pid=009100&cid=CR.184
Keyboard and mouse - http://canadacomputers.com/index.php?do=ShowProduct&cmd=pd&pid=007283&cid=PE.826 (not like this one matters heh)
speakers - http://www.thesourcecc.com/estore/P...ine&category=ComputerSpeakers&product=2610601
case - http://www.factorydirect.ca/catalog/product_spec.php?pcode=AT1160

Now I dislike the case, but it's the cheapest I saw for the combo of PSU and case.

REMINDER: I am not willing to spend a lot of money here.
#2: I already have the ram and Video card bought.
#3: What's your input? :)

Thanks,
Dan.

Cases that come with PSUs are known to fail, unless you get an Antec case with a PSU...they're a reliable brand.

well umm, i wouldnt go maxtor, their HDD's are usually really shitty. and umm, are you sure you want to go s 939? that socket is dated and has seen better days. you could pick up a nice am2 setup for the sameprice about and havemore future upgradability.

and wheres your ram?>

Go for either the Seagate or Western Digital HDs. And I agree with massacre....go with AM2 for the future.

cha i have a barracuda and its pretty sweet for the money, i meanits no raptor, but for 60 bucks its reliable, 160 gb, and pretty fast. couldnt askfor more.

i bought my 160GB for 60 and its a WD HD. I would also not use the Psu that comes with the case i have had a few burn out on me or even some that has came DOA. unless you plan on upgradeing the psu later i would add a psu to that list.
