pc won't start

when i opened my computer this happened...

i tried everything. i still have windows and stuff on my computer, dont wanna lose anything. i tried fdisk and that didn't even work. anyone know what that error means?

i'm grub ins't a windows thing is it? I thought it was linux maybe I am wrong, I don't know what that error means, try posting in the linux forum maybe someone there can help you more mate

boot to the xp cd and enter the recover console then reset the MBR by using this command

fdisk /mbr

then preform a repair of the OS
