Need a new scanner

I am in a need of a good scanner. Nothing really fancy. I take old pictures to burn to CD's for the future and my scanner now is putting a milky film over all my pictures. Any suggestions?

Yes and they have great service, well because I only live near by...I always get my stuff in 1-3 days from ordering. Where are you located?

Central Florida. I usually use Tiger Direct, but their shipping is getting bad!!!

I used to use Tiger Direct too but their shipping is slow, plus they overprice their products. Newegg is cheaper, has better service, and faster shipping.

I have another question. I need to add another stick of memory and this is what I have now. 512MB PC3200 DDR 400MHz CL3 Memory made by Ultra. Is it best to get the very same kind or can I get another brand? I read different things about putting different brands together with RAM.

You can mix brands of RAM but it is really not recommended. I suggest you get the another stick of the same, but Newegg doesn't sell Ultra brand of RAM. But I think I recall Tiger selling them for very cheap. If you want you can sell your Ultra 512mb stick and get this:
