I'm building a gaming computer and I would like to couple Intel with Nvidia. I am making out my shopping list right now which consists of the E6700 and 7900GTX. I have a couple questsion since I'm a noob.
I have done some research before posting and now I am lost.
I have read some reviews about nForce 590 SLI Intel Edition motherboard.
But, everytime I search for them online the product info only lists AM2 as compatable processors.
Are the Intel edition MOBO's not out yet?
Are there other motherboards that I just haven't found yet that would work well?
Also what kind of memory would you suggest. I do plan on trying some OCing and maybe even some watercooling down the line. Should my memory be DDR2 800? Or something diffrent?

Thanks for your time.
Ryan.

There are few and far between. You're probably gunna want to wait a month or so for the good Core 2 Duo motherboards, as the ones right now are pretty lame.

And yeah, get DDR2-800.

AND they are overpriced rediculously. A month or two or three will do you good. For the DDR2-800, look for OCZ, Crucial, G-Skill, or Mushkin. I would steer away from Corsair as they are usually needlessly expensive.

Btw, it's nice to have polite members asking questions once in a while. :D
