boot without a cpu?

aight...since I'm all anxious waiting for my cpu to come, today the video card arrives and I can pop that in.

But I was wondering, and if anybody know, can you safely boot up a pc without the cpu or would you just blow it all up?

i dont think it would boot... if u do try it tell us how big the explos... i mean how it worked ( unless u want to risk your comp i wouldnt do it but if u do make a vid of it lol)

it wont boot, i tried it for curiosity,,, theres not brain in the comp to process the boot sequence,

Ok but even when I first started I could tell you the answer is no, can a car run without an engine? Can a person walk without a brain..... that one is not the best example, cause a chicken can run with its head cut off. Ok not everyone has common sence I guess.
