i'm not sure what this slot is 4.
 
It looks like an AMR (Audio Modem Riser) slot. It's develeoped by Intel or VIA....lol......Intel I believe :confused:
They developed it so that they don't have to conform to the FCC for I/O standards. All they had to do was create this slot so that their cards are now considered a daughter board from the main board.

Its CNR - Communications Network Riser, neither have I, but I belive its for network cards and whatnot.
 
In this case, it is a CNR slot, according to ASUS and Intel.

I wouldn't bother with it; most of the interface cards that utilize it aren't that great, in my opinion.
 
Yea, it IS a CNR......the extra slot to the left gives it away.....
