I've been reading up on Watercooling for a while now, but there are still some things i need to know about. What exactly do I need for watercooling, how much does it cost altogether and is it worth the money? Thanks

For watercooling you need a CPU waterblock, pump, radiator, tubing, coolant, resevoir, fans....a GPU waterblock is optional if you want to cool the graphic card. A good watercooliing system probably cost 200+?...it is worth it if your overclocking or you want your PC silent.

well are you into OC'ing? if not then it is not worth the money, unless you have a video cardthat naturally run shot.

You can get a pretty good setup for between 200-250 bucks.

with watercooling you need: radiator, pump, water blocks for all components, hose, fittings, clamps etc, a resivor, and additive.

dang you beat me by like 3 mintues

water cooling is not just for ocing, there are 100 dollar setups that are great if you just want a quiet computer. and 100 is cheap when some cpu fans are 80 bucks.

For a first timer i would go with a complete set up, not one of those sites where you put everything together. one thats in a box with everything you need, then you get used to it, the set up and whatever thing does.

something like this:

I usually hear bad things about the TT Bigwater, and I always hear that kits are not good...more likely to spring a leak or fail.

Pump
CPU Block
GPU Block
Tubing either 7/16 inch or 1/2 inch inner diameter
Reservoir or T-line
Radiator
Worm Drive Clamps
Arctic Silver 5
Hydrx Additive
Fans for the radiator
PTFE Thread Tape

If you wanted to have your gpu and cpu cooled, estimate at about 250

For just the CPU estimate 200

*EDIT* Feel free to ask around the forums, the consensus show that they are a complete waste of money and a hazard to your computer.

Keep in mind that putting together a water cooling loop takes a good 4-6 hours of setup.

Wow building, buying and upgrading really has some of the most immature posts and posters in the forums.

Not liking a product you mentioned is immature?
Knowing very little about the subject at this point, I appreciate a diversity of opinions.

I have water cooling, and I love it. It's pretty much silent, depends on the kit you use though(some are pretty loud), and it's great for hardcore overclockin'.
