computer keeps making my point go in to sleep mode

Whenever i try install something or playing games my moniter goes into sleep mode and my pc is still on wiv the fans going and everything. I have had this problem before and i took my processor back and they said it was faulty but it is happening again and i have also had my motherboard exchanged.

please can some1 help me?

sounds more like a graphics card issue i had a 7900 GT by EGVA that wouldnt work and would make the monitor go into sleep mode i would start looking into updating the drivers and perhapse even the graphics card. what kind is it?

My graphics card is new and it is ATI radeon 9550 256mb 128-bit
i will try updating the divers to see if the problem gets solved i will also try and use my old graphics card.

I have but my old graphics card in and now when i am trying to play the game it comes up with a blue screen
