XP wallpaper problem

All of sudden I cant change my wallpaper. When I go to display properties it shows the picture that I have selected, but my wallpaper is just a color. I cant figure it out.

Did you enable view deasktop as webpage?

when was it working and when did it stop working?

it was working a while back and then i started using my laptop for work so i switched it to a plain wallpaper. After I stopped using it for work i went to change it back, and nothing.
