Mobo decision

anywho.. with all this conroe talk, i guess i am in need of a mobo, i'm not too interested in sli as of now, and i will probably worry about that later.. imight have the chance to buy a mobo this friday, so i have made two choices... and i would like to know which you would think is more worth it.. i'm just buying a nice budget type bored for now.. so i've chosen an msi and abit board

that msi is only about 100 dollars and could probably easily serve any of my purposes.. which is just a slight overclock, seeing as i'm not extreme in that department

the msi is a bit cheap and leaves me skepticle, so which would any of you prefer???

i have an abit mobo now, and i'm very familliar with the bios, so i would assume it would be similar and i guess i could say, i wouldnt have as much troubles overclocking

its either i'm getting me the mobo.... or if i manage to HOPEFULLY have enough money.. order my allendale e6400 instead.. but i don't see that happening

i would recommend the Abit but i hear its not good for conroes, may not even work. Do your research on it and if it does infact work well with conroe then go with the abit. good quality, familiar bios, nice price..cant go wrong

ya, i'm on that abit bored... hopefully its not as bad with conroe as it says.. and as for ram.. i may stick to 1 gb at start.. and get the 2nd stick later on like i did with my compy now

yeah i dont see the need for 2 gigs yet one gig does anybody just fine for now

i'm still debating ddr1000 since i'm only getting 1 gb.. but i'm still iffy, how far could ddr2 800 go?? would it go anywhere as far as ddr500 would with an amd? this whole ddr2 and fsb is stumping me.. so would that mean i could bring fsb up to 400 on ddr 800?? because holy crap thats high
