The Help file of my CD-ROM driver says that i can enable my CD-ROM drive to read CD-RW or Sierra formatted disks. all i have to do is to tweak the MSCDEX file. anyone knows how to do that?

CD-RW discs can only be used in a CD-Rewriter or a MultiRead compliant CD-ROM drive.
Diamond Data CD-ROM drives with speeds of 32X or higher are MultiRead compliant, as is the 24X drive with the model number 624A-323. Older models of CD-ROM drive are not able to read CD-RW media
