I am currently working on setting up a server thats running windows XP and was wondering if there is a way I can have Putty and Command Prompt running, but not visible. I don't want them as windows or minimized, maybe in the tray at the bottom right corner of the screen, or best of all, just the process. I need to enter a few commands in each initially, but after that would like to make them invisible. Thanks in advance.

for the command prompt commands you can just create a batchfile that runs the commands in the startup folder and then exits afterward but for the putty client i dont think you can because it is 3rd party software. you could make it open on startup and enter the commands manually but i dont think you can make it do it by itself.
