Why would you need 8gb of ram? Doesn't WinXP not run well with more than 3gb.

It would work fine, but its still not as fast. This is suppose to be a crazy machine, only the best!

Because 2 gig ram sticks are hella slow becuase they have so much storage. Not allot of choices when you get that high.
