I have found a site that is offering me this PC:
3800 Dual Core X 2 Processor
128 MB Nvidia 6100 Graphics
512 DDR 400 MHz Memory
80 GB Hard Drive
52 X Cd Writer
10/100 Ethernet
6 USB 2.0s
Front USB & Audio Ports
3 Year Warranty Included

for 310 pounds? I will be using the PC for schoolwork, multimedia and for the game World of Warcraft.

Do you think that is a good buy? Or should i look at others, id like links and i am from England with a 300 pounds budget...

Thanks guys

sorry thats not a very good computer (6100 is an integrated video chipset)

if you want a good deal, you should the comp together yourself. we'll tell you which parts to get. like the idea? if so, give us a good british site for parts and we'll pick the parts from there and give you something for your budget

doesn't sound bad although most people here would advise you look at the new conroe and allendale processors from Intel if possible. that computer should be adequate for your needs although i am not 100% sure how the onboard 6100 graphics will do with WoW. you may have to get a new graphics card to make it playable

the 6100 integrated video is about the best for on board so it should play it... but as nitestick said... you might want to look into a video card... also might want to look into another 512 stick of ram later on. but for your budget it seems like a decent system. do you have a link? I'd like to see what kind of slots it has... PCIE or AGP, etc...

here's a comp for around 300 pounds... its better than the one you have up there..
