400 W to 450 W?

Would it be worth the expense to upgrade my less-then-1-year-old 400 W PSU to a 450 W PSU?

I'm not running the most high end top of the line equipment, but all the components in my computer are probably worth ~$1000

If the 400 watt runs it fine now, why waste the money?

Even 400w is fine, i agree, no point in upgrading. If you are considering an upgrade, an extra 50 watts isn't worth the money. You may as well go for the gust and get 500w or more

Depends on the brand though. A reliable brand 400W PSU will actually pump more wattage and stable ampage than a cheap-o brand 600W.
