Error 1933...Desperate!!

This is usually the error msg for something else but this pops up when installing my ipod. it states "Error 1933: This setup requires Internet Information Server 4.0 or higher for configuring IIS Virtual Roots. Please make sure that you have IIS 4.0 or higher." After that another msg states, "Error: -1603 Fatal error during installation. Consult Windows Installer Help (Msi. chm) or MSDN for more information." I've been on multiple forums for several days. I am desperate for any help!!

u do windows update?...thattl do it, or you can get the ipod cd and reinstall the software

i tried doin it automatically but my internet explorer isnt workin. i will try doin it manually but which update should i get, the latest one?
