Upgrading my old rig and have questions

Alright, I figured out which videocard and cpu to get (6800 XT, and P4 2.8 533), my last question is, should I get a new cpu cooler or can I use my current one, which is for a P4 1.7, if I do need a new one, which one should I get and if the cpu is retail and not oem does it come with a cooler?

The model number you listed for your mobo doesn't pull anything up on Google, so I have no idea of your FSB.

The FSB (Front Side Bus) speed of your motherboard will be the limiting feature. If it is less that what the processor runs, it will throttle back the processor.

Best bet is to get a new cooler and some Artic Silver 5 to go under it.

From what I could find, it has a maximum 533MHz FSB.

Might be wrong, I got it from some Korean site...

sorry, I edited the mobo, and it is 800mhz fbs, I just want to know if I can use it with the cpus I listed.

Same socket, same FSB. Yes, it will run them.
