Question about cordless mice

Hey all

I wanna know if wireless mice (for example a logitech insertmodelhere mouse) will work if I connect the receiver to the USB port of my machine and put it under my desk.
Since the mouse is on the computer desk, and the wireless receiver is under the table, will the mouse be able to "contact" the receiver? assuming that the mouse is in a range of say 1.5 metres or so.

yeah it should be fine, but if your playing games i wouldnt recoment it...cordless mice suck for gaming.

It shouldn't effect the signal unless there is any thick metals blocking the way to the adapter. Like massacreinfallx said, it isn't ideal for gaming though unless you are a casual gamer or not a gamer at all.

it would not effect your mouse! my logitech stuff works over about 24' (one end of the room to the other) so under the desk should be ok! cordless mice only suck for gaming if you have a bad signal on them, otherwise they are ok (unless gaming is your life)
