Making a CD Caddy

I have a DVD-player that would be extremely more space saving if it was placed sideways. It works correctly sideways, however getting the CD in and out is hard, because the tray has no caddy, and sometimes the CD doesn't come out when I open the CD tray until I place it horizontally. Is there any way I can make a caddy to hold the disk in place that would not affect the drive? Or is this just a really stupid idea.

well as long as it does not interfere with you player reading the disk you should be fine.

also is you 3500 venice on stock cooling with that speed or not?

Stock cooling my man, at around 28 idle right now. I might be modding a Zalman soon and putting that on, because I'm not happy with the noise the stock AMD makes...
