*new* wood case worklog

first coat of stain, i decided on a rose wood in the end, ill build up to 3 coats, thin finish with a satin varnish:

next coat ill do in about 8hrs

its a subtle differnece, but im gonna do another 2 coats, then a couple of the varnsih, that should make it all shiney and nice.
 
So, wood + heat = no fun for house.

What measures are you taking to control the thermals?

I didn't see anything mentioned already in this thread unless I missed it.

thermal measurs, umm well, this sint the most practicle of cases but it will have an intake fan underneith, and an exhust at the back, along with the 120mm exhust under the psu, its not much, but it shoud be enugh.

oh yea, i also got a pci fan controller, and that has like a billion thermal probes that plug into it, soo il be able to monitor temps good, on the 6.5" case monitor:eek:
 
ok, so i made it, 6 coats of stain in the end, and 2 coats of varnish, ill post some pics today, but my rooms all a mess cos im putting it back together....along with a new conroe:) , alas, it looks might fine
