Upgrading my pc

I own a T6410 emachine with an added 512 ram stick i am looking foward to upgrading the following:

1. Add 2 gig ram (1 gig x2)

2. Add Geofroce 7900 gt ( tell me if getting a x1900xt is better)

3. A sexy LG monitor(Just looking at a viewsonic monitor makes me want to throw up) this is what the monitor looks like:

Now my question is do i need to add cooling devices and a better power supply plus can i upgrade my processor to a better one sicne buying a better 64 athlon is cheap.

You will definitly need a new PSU. I believe the PSU in that model is only a 300watt, if not it's no more than 350watt. I'd get atleast a 430watt.

You can upgrade your CPU if you want. Any Socket 939 chip should work.

Any recomanded cpu for under 200 dollars and will it be worth sicne the 3200+ is pretty fast on its own.

But isnt the 7900gt faster then x1900xl when not overclocked.

Yeah, but it costs more and it's not THAT much better.

Mate if you think that the LG monitor is good. You need ur head tested. Buy a Samsung 19 inch Syncmaster913N.
