The computer in my sig is just not cutting it anymore, im pretty sure the gpu is faulty, becasue it always crashes. Is it even worth upgrading this comp, or should i just be looking for a new video card? Anyways im on a budget, probably about $500. Im probably looking just to get a new processor, ram, video card, and mobo.
A) go intel, and get a 775 so maybe i could go conroe later? and for now just get a p4 540 3ghz or something? even though i probably wouldn't be spending enough money on the mobo to make it worthwhile for a conroe in the future.
B) go amd becasue athlon 64's are better for gaming, and i have the delimea of am2 or not? i'll probably go with a 64 3400+ or something close to that. maybe even fork it out and get x2 3800+.
Video cards, im pretty set with a 7600gt. any other suggestions are welcome.
Ram it really just depends, but its gonna be 2x1gb atleast.
