Ok, first off, Hey guys, this is my first time on these boards.
From the looks of it, it looks like most members here know what they are doing, and could be a lot of help.

My Question:
So some guy online sent me a touchscreen (dont ask, long story) for free.

But, the thing is that it doesnt have VGA so i dont know how to install it.

Its a GRiD touchscreen.

It doesnt have any plugs, wires, or anything except for ONE ribbon like band coming from the back (I think I counted 32 pin, but I'm not completly sure), that looks like this:

Do any of you guys know how to install it?

Thank you very much in advance, any help would be much appreciated.

It probably connects to some kind of board from a computerized scale or some other device like that. I work with these all the time but Never thought of using one on a computer. Don't know if you can. I'll ask my boss tomorrow and see what he says. Is the end just like little copper strips built into the cable rather than a plug.

yeah. the cable ends with the little copper strip, 32 of them I think I got when I counted. There is no plug what so ever.

Apperently it came from a computer. And the guy that gave it to me said you could hook it up to the computer. But he's kinda I dont know, flakey.

So I dont know what to do.

Ok, i figured out its the screen from a GRiD convertable 2260
