Just double checking everything and hopefully will get some feedback!

since no one else will, I will, looks good to me. Jusst get it if you like it not on what others think. You wille be the one using it, not them

I agree, nice system, and others will probably mention you can get more out of a 4400+ than a 4200+ however I do not really see much of a difference.

Also, congrats on the new rig you will love it, I know I love mine =)

Only thing I can comment on is that the graphics card is a little lower-budget compared to the rest of the system. Why? If you can afford it the 7900GT would be a better card to go with. If not, great PC anyway.

i cannot afford it. My brother pitched in 200 dollars to upgrade the processor and buy a new windows. So if he didnt do that, my budget would be about 800-900.

Thanks for the input guys, hopefully will ship within a few days and be running by the end of the week!

Thanks,
Ted

i will post pics when i get the stuff. The monitor and mouse is supposed to be delivered today, not sure about everything else though.

edit - Do i need an anti static wristband? I have heard people love them but i also heard that i can just touch the computer case or powersupply every few minutes.

Also, what exactly is ghosting in a lcd monitor?:D

If i could guess, ghosting is when in image is burned into the monitor screen. I'm not sure if it happens with LCD at all, but with CRT I know that if you leave your desktop just sitting there with no standby on for many many hours, you will find that your shortcuts will have ghostly images burned onto your screen. Assuming that is exactly what you are talking about, just have a screensaver or standby enabled all the time.

RalliArt, that is slightly incorrect.

CRTs can have the image BURN into the glass, not the same as ghosting, ghosting is when an LCD (and only an LCD no such problem on a CRT) leaves a faint image as it transistions to a new one, so basically you can see a slight trail following the action on the screen. However on my 8ms Viewsonic I have not seen any ghosting, it is generally accepted that 12 ms and lower there will be no ghosting. Ghosting is the aftereffect of a slower monitor in that the actual crystals do not change colors fast enough to meet up with the image changing.

I have never used an electrostatic wristpad simply because you can touch the (HAS TO BE METAL) case to discharge your static buildup every minute or so, if the case is plastic, do not expect it to discharge. I guess the PSU would work as well to discharge, generally any metal surface will do.

Also, do NOT wear sneakers on a carpet surface, that will build up static electricity alot easier.
