My Antec sucks air threw an air filter threw the bottom and it gets nice airflow and it sits directly on the desk I dont see where that would be a problem. And most cases the front is plastic so you cant be heavy handed.

The front drive bay cover on my case is made out of 3mm thick brushed aluminium.

Sadly the top USB cover is made out of plastic, but I have my mod planned for when I break that.

Just be warned, it has a cheap plastic front. I almost went for one but changed my mind due to the plastics, its fine if you are not very heavy handed though.

Also, it doesn't have a front air vent. It sucks air off the ground.

The plastic front is pretty nice looking and sturdy enough.

Also...there is a filtered front 120mm fan on the front of the case. not sure why you think it doesn't have a front air vent. It most certainly doesn't get the air from the ground

The air is sucked up from below the front cover, which means it isn't very useful when you don't have teh case on a smooth surface (e.g. a carpet.)
