I have a Maxtor 80GB harddrive, and I reinstalled Windows XP today, now I only have 31 GB of space? Is there a way I can fix this WITHOUT having to reformat and reinstall Windows again? I used Paragon Partition Manager and at first I only had 3.99GB then I reformatted the free space on the drive and it only gave me like 28GB... Thanks for the Help, Jeremy...

check you jumper on your hdd and make sure it isn't set to the 32 gig limit. if that isn't it

wipe your drive with powermax and reinstall windows. use the xp disc to partiition it

Check the 137GB barrier on this forum. Search for it!

that has to do with the interrupt 13 extensions (INT13) i dont think that is the reason hes having the problems considering he is only getting 31 gb not 137. id dont think the LBA registry fix will help much. but a BIOS flash couldnt hurt.
